Introduction

The Department of Emergency Medicine revives and stabilizes patients by professionally diagnosing and treating various emergency diseases at an early stage.

The main areas of care are resuscitation medicine, including specialized cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and various emergency diseases in the surgical field, including internal medicine, such as severe trauma, intensive care medicine, and clinical toxicology. In particular, we are closely cooperating to ensure that the final treatment can be achieved within the golden time by linking time-critical emergency patients such as myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular disease, and severe trauma with the relevant specialized clinical department.

The Department of Emergency Medicine was first established in 1996 with the best medical staff in charge in Korea and has been designated as a Seoul-type Golden Time Emergency Medical Center in 2020. We are working hard to accommodate it and provide prompt treatment.
Emergency medical specialists are stationed 24 hours a day to provide efficient and systematic emergency medical treatment to emergency patients at any time.
